What is Fustaq Florals?

Welcome to Fustaq Florals! I'm Elizabeth Tah Bash, the florist behind this bespoke floral design business based in Liverpool. Fustaq Florals is more than just a floral studio—it's a reflection of love, creativity, and the joy of bringing people together through flowers.

What Does "Fustaq" Mean?

Pronounced "fuh-stuck," "fustaq" is the Arabic and Kurdish word for "pistachio." Just as people use "honey" or "sweetheart" as terms of endearment, "fustaq" carries the same affectionate meaning. My husband, who is Kurdish from Syria, calls me "fustaq," and every time he does, it makes me smile. This warmth and personal connection inspired the name of my floral business, which I hope brings that same feeling of joy and care to my clients.

My Floral Journey 

With six years of floral design experience, I earned my certificate in International Dutch Floral Design from the Boerma Instituut in 2019. My journey has taken me from interning in a Dutch floral shop to working part-time in floral design in the USA while building a marketing career. In 2024, I had the joy of designing my own wedding flowers, a truly special milestone. Now, I'm thrilled to offer my floral expertise to Liverpool, creating bespoke arrangements for every occasion.
